The message "Update of SSO settings failed." is displayed on the Single Sign-On settings screen. What should I do?

2026-10-09 07:26:44 UTC 2026-11-02 10:47:06 UTC

This is displayed when metadata could not be retrieved or loaded, or when the metadata does not match the service selected under "Linked Service".
At this time, the settings have not been saved.

Please verify that the Metadata endpoint URL, the metadata file, and the "Linked Service" selection are correct.

When reconfiguring the Metadata endpoint URL or metadata file

If a certificate has been updated on the IdP side, the following operations are required to make the Teachme series recognize the updated information.

For Metadata endpoint URL

If multiple certificates can be registered on the IdP side, reconfiguration is not necessary by enabling both the old and new certificates.
Also, when a certificate reaches its Expiration Date, the metadata will be automatically refreshed.

When the Metadata endpoint URL changes

  1. Click "Configure" under "SAML Metadata"
  2. Select "Enter URL", enter the new URL in the "Metadata endpoint URL" field, and click "Save"
  3. Click "Save" on the screen

When you change the URL and save, the metadata will be automatically retrieved from the new URL.

For metadata file

Please perform the following operation.

▼Re-upload SAML Metadata on Renewal (Web Browser)

If the error is not resolved after checking the settings

Please Contact our support desk (support@teachme.jp) with the displayed Message and a screenshot of the entire settings screen.
