2026-10-09 07:26:41 UTC 2026-10-31 13:29:50 UTC

To set up single sign-on integration between Salesforce and the Teachme series, some configuration is required in advance.

During setup, you can select either "Federation ID" or "Username" as the integration item (subject type).
※ Single sign-on integration with the Teachme series using custom attributes is not covered by the operation guarantee. Please conduct your own verification.

When selecting Federation ID

You will need to configure a unique "Federation ID" for each user in Salesforce in advance.

Related: Set Up a Federation ID (external site)

When selecting Federation ID, you need to match the "Federation ID" in Salesforce with either the "Account name" or "E-Mail Address" in the Settings Center.

Additionally, when integrating by matching the "Account name", you need to select "urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1:nameid-format:unspecified" for the "Name ID Format" field.

If you are already using a Federation ID to integrate Salesforce with services other than the Teachme series, please verify in advance that the naming conventions within each service do not conflict or interfere with the operational rules within your organization.

When selecting Username

You need to match the "Username" in Salesforce with the "E-Mail Address" in the Settings Center.

If the "Username" in Salesforce is not a valid e-mail address, registering the "Username" as the "E-Mail Address" in the Settings Center will mean that users will no longer be able to receive various E-mail notifications from the Teachme series.

If you are registering an invalid e-mail address in the Settings Center, please contact the support desk in advance to prevent unexpected errors.
